Excellent gadget. Saved me hundreds of dollars. My 2005 truck only has an AUX input port and that stopped working when my new phone came without a 3.5mm phone jack. Bluetooth does not work with my old radio. In order to get Bluetooth connectivity, I would have had to install a new radio and matching speakers. I could have purchased a Bluetooth adapter to connect the 3.5mm AUX plug into the AUX input, but reading reviews on alternative Bluetooth dongle adapters, convinced me that there are volume and noise problems.
I just tried the Belkin RockStar™ 3.5mm Audio with USB-C Charge Adaptor plugged into my AUX in jack and it is providing excellent results. I can make and receive phone calls and the cell phone charges just fine. Streaming music is static free. Liking this solution the best.
Pros: It works with the phone set at low to mid volume. Works with my antiquated radio and amplifier. Excellent sound. I would buy another one to replace it should it ever fail in the future. I would recommend it to friends and strangers.
Cons: Not free, but a reasonable price.

I'm sorry, but this product is garbage. I bought two of these at $40 a pop. You would think I'd get at least 6 months use out of it for that price.Nope.I got about a month or of the first one and two weeks out of the second. The first one gave me a high pitched squealing sound after about a week of use, after which it would pause my audio every time I hit a bump, and sometimes it would just go back to speakerphone on my device.I'd have to unplug it and replug it while driving to get sound back, after which the high pitched squealing would start again, then pause after I hit another bump.The second one did the same, only it started after two weeks. $80 I'll never see again. Just today, I went for a drive, and as soon as I started, the squealing began, then 5 minutes in, pause. It wouldn't connect after about 15 times of playing with the wire, trying to get it to play in the car.I ended up opening the window and just listening to the wind. Never again.I bought a bluetooth device to plug and play, and so far, so good. No squealing, and Ive got high quality sound. Know what I spent? $27.Avoid this garbage. In Utah I could give this product 0⭐️. I have it one because I had to.
