Never Ceasing: God's Faithfulness in Grief Kindle Edition
When your child dies, who can you turn to for help in your grief? How do you bear the terrible pain? Where can you find assurance that, yes, you will get through this? Never Ceasing: God’s Faithfulness in Grief is one mother’s testimony of God’s faithful care after the death of her son in a car crash the evening before his twenty-first birthday. This book looks unflinchingly at the issues bereaved parents often wrestle with and offers solid answers based on God’s Word, the Holy Bible:
- What if I’m not sure my child went to Heaven?
- What to do with anger.
- Should I try to contact my child through a psychic medium?
- Why did this happen? Am I being punished?
- What good is prayer when bad things happen, anyway?
- Why should I trust God when He didn’t protect my child?
- When prayer is hard and going to church is harder.
- Where can I find strength to go on?

This book has touched me deeply. It is a brutally honest telling of a broken hearted mother walking through the deepest grief, the death of her beloved son Hans. If you have lost a child, (or a loved one), you will find yourself devouring each page, wanting to go forward with Kim, needing to know how she gets through the next day. Kim’s absolute faith in the truth of the Bible and God’s faithfulness, shows a balance between her human frailty in grief and God’s strength bestowed to her. Her book will show you that you are not alone and tell you of the hope that is true and eternal. The hope in the midst of her pain, and healing in the head-on confrontation with the agony of experiencing the death of her precious son Hans. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is suffering a devastating grief or who knows someone who is. It asks and answers so many questions and it brings comfort to a broken heart.

A beautiful telling of a mother's grief journey after her beloved eldest son is suddenly taken from her. Those who have experienced similar loss will feel heard by the deep emotion Kim conveys. They will find hope for haunting questions about life, death, and the afterlife. Others who do not understand such heart wrenching pain will gain insight and empathy to comfort the hurting. Don't miss all the delightful stories Kim shares from her homestead in Alaska: The Stump & Rosebush, the 4 Eagles, The Light Show. Kim's initial shock and suffering turns to a steady..."yet, I will rejoice!"
