There is a lot to like in Lost Chances. Mason is a character who proves himself to be a serious investigator right from the beginning. He is focused, organized, and rational. With Trick's wit and quick thinking, the two of them make a formidable duo. Although more scenes involving these two would have been a real treat, even this much of a glimpse was entertaining enough. Since this is book 3, there were quite many references from the previous books. J. T. Bishop has included as many details as possible to close these gaps. For readers, beginning with the first book would be the right course of action. Lost Chances has engaging conversations that are full of life. The audience will find themselves sighing (with frustration or relief, depending upon the context) and chuckling with these dialogues. Inside the rehab, the story was incredible and highly intriguing. The execution of the suspense is perfect. Outside the rehab, Mikey and others had their moments of holding the audience. Lost Chances by J. T. Bishop has the charisma to hold its audience till the very last page. Lost Chances by J. T. Bishop is part of a series that I haven't read but, although this is the third book, I kept up with the story. However, I would recommend reading the series in order. If you like paranormal stories, this is a great book to read. There are several storylines running through it, making it somewhat complex but everything ties together satisfyingly in the end. The characters are incredibly well-developed, considering this is book 3, and the plot is unique and very enjoyable. There is lots of action and it's written in a way that makes you invested in it, makes you want to keep reading until the very end. J. T. Bishop has written an intriguing book with Lost Chances: The Redstone Chronicles Book 3. I have not read the other books in the series, but there was enough information so that I could follow the story. The characters are well developed and I like that the main character has real problems and isn't practically superhuman. He has his demons, but he is determined to fight them. I liked the interactions between Mikey and Trick; they make a good team. The story moved at a decent pace and I kept reading to find out what would happen next. I do enjoy paranormal books and while paranormal PIs are not new, I think the characters felt fresh and interesting. There was plenty of action to keep readers entertained and I liked how the mystery unfolded. I think that paranormal and urban fantasy readers would enjoy this series. I just finished reading Lost Chances, and the more I read the better the books become! As I have written before, if you haven’t read a book written by J.T Bishop then I really don’t know what to say. You are missing out on some of the best author that is out there: As I will reiterate this because I personally believe that you need to at least give her a try! I’m positive that you will keep going back for more. Thanks JT for all the great hours you’ve given me, and will keep doing what you do best.

Lost Chances: A Paranormal P.I. Mystery Thriller (The Redstone Chronicles Book 3), my sixth read from author J.T. Bishop and the third book in the Redstone Chronicles. It was nice to see Detectives Daniels and Remalla make a significant appearance as they're my favorite Bishop characters. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. The book was well-written & flowed smoothly & quickly. I look forward to reading more from this author and in particular Lost Hope: A Paranormal P.I. Mystery Thriller (The Redstone Chronicles Book 4). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Rem and Daniels are together with the Redstones

Mason Redstone (a former Texas Ranger and current paranormal investigator) is admitted to an exclusive rehab center where he is dealing with his pill addiction. Mason hears, sees and communicates with ghosts so naturally he would see ghosts at the center. This leads to mysterious activities that need investigation. Mason Redstone's sister Mikey and his partner Trick (another former Texas Ranger) keep the PI investigations going while Detectives Remala and Daniels are back together. Lots of twists and action. One thing, I find it annoying that Rem and Mikey are taking so long to get together and resent the new character in Mikey's life.

The dangers of addiction!

I didn't read the first 2 books in this series, but I was able to understand the book without any problems. It kept my attention, and I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. Mason was smart to get treatment for his addiction and made friends with some of the other patients. He discovers wrongdoing, which may be his undoing. He escapes the institution just in time and has to depend on his friends to help him out. I enjoy this author and this book was no different. I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Mason, ex Texas Ranger and now a PI, leaves to go to a rehab facility called Windhaven. Mickey and Trick are left to handle the business. They take on a case of a suspicious death of a sister. Mason sees gift of paranormal visions come into play. Mysterious deaths that have been covered up. Mystery and suspense with a lot of twists to keep you guessing.

Another cracking story from this author, I do love how it all comes together at the end, like rope strands. This time it needs more help than ever to solve it. What are we going to get in the next one I wonder, cannot wait to find out. Highly recommended.

I couldn’t put it down. Mason’s healing journey in rehab turns into something more with some intense family healing along the way. As for Mickey, let me just say, team Rem!

The crossover between the different series in this edition made it even better. Adding more characters with both evil and good intentions makes the story more complex, more puzzling, therefore making it more interesting and enjoyable. Who would have thought police work and the paranormal could make for an interesting combination.
