    I have been gaming on PC for 7 years now. It’s been a very long uphill climb for me to be able to compete against the other players in my lobbies. I’ve been through several different mice, keyboards, mousepads, monitors, etc. This mousepad, combined with some generic glass mouse skates, have made any mouse I use feel infinitely faster and smoother.

    It’s very large, as you can see how much of my desk it takes up, which makes it great for both low sensitivity and high sensitivity players. With just a little bit of force, I can send my mouse flying across it in less than a second. As you may imagine, this makes it super easy and quick to pull off nasty flicks, and it is super easy to accurately track moving targets in game.

    Since this mousepad is made out of glass, it is super easy to keep clean. I own 6 pets, which made owning cloth mousepads absolute hell. If they get any dirt or fur on this mousepad, it all comes off in one simple wipe! Overall, if you’re serious about stepping up your aim game, I would highly recommend adding this to your arsenal.

    Extremely smooth pad, way moreso than the Skypad 3.0 which many regarded as smooth itself. It did have an ashy coating from the manufacturing process but a quick clean with water and a microfiber towel fixed it and was off to a great start. Have used it for a few weeks and it's an extremely fast pad, but not easily controllable. For those with already good aiming ability, it will take getting used to, but the potential is limitless. For more casual individuals though, this will have a much steeper learning curve, especially if glass mousepads are new to you.

    It's not a good value for money up front, but glass mousepads don't have a shelf life: they can last for decades. The only downside is they will wear down mouse skates easily, so aftermarket skates will come in handy over the years.

I don’t think I can go back to playing on cloth pads, because it honestly feels like I’m playing with input delay compared to a sky pad. Have used SP-004 and the 3.0, and they are both amazing pads.     BACKGROUND:
    I'm a long time gamer/developer that prefers "fast" mousepads. I hate the drag/friction of cloth pads, and have tried everything from aluminum to plastic. My most recent was the QcK hard pad by SteelSeries (which felt nice at first), but after like a year, the bottom pad had warped/shrunk, and the skin of the pad had started to separate.

    So let's start the review...

    PACKAGING:
    Holy crap. Aside from the cost (which is no joke), the sheer weight and quality of packaging let me knew I was opening something kinda special... honestly, given the size and natural fragility of the glass pad, this will be the first time in history I hold onto the packaging of a MOUSE PAD... for whenever we move next. The packaging seems inspired by Apple... or maybe even a step above. It's super nice!

    SPEED:
    No complaints. This is a slick surface, like I like... with a very faint matte texture. Just enough friction, but not too much.

    LOOKS:
    This looks super sharp. I love the subtle model labeling on the edge (looks super industrial), and the gentle sparkle across the surface, below the glass. Very, very sharp looking. It IS bigger than I expected (it's huge), but that's my own fault for using mental measurements instead of busting out the tape measure.

    BUILD:
    I honestly think this could last a lifetime, with care. Even if something happens to the bottom non-slip layer, the top is solid glass... so I could (in theory) clean off and replace the bottom layer should it fail over time. My only concern with the top is if someone sets something on it that might scratch... for instance I have a nasty habit of placing my phone (protruding camera side down) on my previous mousepads. That now terrifies me, because the glass of the lens is almost sure to scratch the mousepad... I'll just have to be super careful!

    COMPLAINTS:
    As others have stated... the utterly perfect smoothness/finish of this pad means *any* imperfection, hair, or spec of dust/grit on the pad itself or the bottom of your mouse will instantly be noticeably/annoying, requiring you to clean it off. Just be ready for that. Worth it? Time will tell, but so far at least, I'd say... absolutely.

    This is a great item. However, buy it directly from the manufacturer website if you can.

    Amazon is trying to pass off what seems like a bunch of used stock as new. It's happened to me twice with this item already, and if you go to the manufacturers store front on Amazon, you'll see a few reviews stating that they received used items as well.

    The first one came with the seal completely cut through. Someone's greasy prints already on the pad. The replacement I received today had mangled seals with greasy prints and some nasty liquid stain on it.

    Tragic, because this really is an amazing mouse pad. Order direct from manufacturers website if you can. Their lower price may make up for the shipping depending on where you live.

    I bought the wallhack sp0004 white. My Superlight 2 just keeps spinning out randomly. It’s sad bc the mouse pad feels and aims well but within the darkness and the lamp on in the room it spins out. I will say in the dark it spins out less often. But none the less it still performs poorly I use artisan mouse pads like hein and zero and I never have this issue I even switch back and didn’t get a single spin out.

    I watched a bunch of reviews for the SP-004 before buying and it took a while for me to determine if I should go with the 3 over the 4, because I couldn’t figure out the difference. I opted for the 4, just because it looked to have more consistency from those that have used it, or are currently using it.

    And I’m glad I did, because it feels great. It’s my first time using a glass/speed pad and though it took me a couple of hours to get used to, I genuinely feel like I can’t go back to a regular mouse pad. It’s smooth, incredibly quick and never gets caught up due to friction.

    Finding the balance of how the mouse moves is obviously something to consider - whatever you’re playing at right now with a material mouse pad, is likely going to change with this, just because of the speed and accuracy you can get using glass.

    Definitely recommend if you’re in the market and want to work on that competitive edge. The build quality is exceptional and feels premium. Even down to the unboxing. You get what you pay for! Very impressed.
