SOMEWHERE A CHILD IS BORN: Conversations Beyond Belief Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 7 ratings

Are You Living Your Truth, or Someone Else’s Illusion?

As an Ordained Minister, NLP Master Practitioner, and Certified Hypnotherapist, working with people over the decades, Wolf Stanley has discovered that most people are confused, and have problems, because they believe false concepts about themselves and the world in general.

Have you ever wondered what kind of person would develop if they were not programmed with false beliefs? Where would you begin? At conception, or even earlier?

Your paradigm is a collection of the beliefs that you hold. Your paradigm is the autopilot that determines who you are and what you do. In addition to religious paradigms, we have medical paradigms, education paradigms, and many other collections. Is it time to challenge them all?

Your subconscious mind is all-powerful, but it craves guidance. If you don’t take control of your own subconscious mind, someone else will. Advertisers, politicians, and mass media have made a science of communicating directly to that part of your mind.

You were programmed to hold certain beliefs.
You have been programmed to hide your genius.
How were you programmed, and how do you rewrite the code?

Your world is a reflection of your mind. Change your mind; change your life.

In this easy-to-read book, you will discover the secrets of:
  • How you learned what you “know” so you can question those beliefs.
  • How those beliefs affect the results you see in your life.
  • How your subconscious mind controls your health, wealth, and happiness.
  • How to make lasting permanent changes to improve your life today.
  • How to use your imagination to achieve ANYTHING you want.

This book is a presentation of Mental Science philosophies and techniques in the form of dialogs.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming, hypnosis, and the laws of metaphysics are demonstrated in a classroom setting and in one-on-one conversations regarding the powers of the mind to control the body.

Some of the topics discussed are the use of these techniques for painless childbirth based on Marie Mongan's HypnoBirthing system, allergy relief, alternative cancer treatment, goal-achievement, and clearing past trauma.

If you like the works of Joseph Murphy, Bob Proctor, and Neville Goddard, then you will love SOMEWHERE A CHILD IS BORN: Conversations Beyond Belief.

Take back your power. Release the old paradigm and create your own future.

This book can show you how to control your subconscious mind to create a better version of you.

Worth Reading
Interesting collection of vignettes that explore a variety of different mindsets and thoughts.

This book was quite an interesting format. The whole book was a series of short dialogues. There was a plot running through it, although it didn't seem like the plot was intended to be the focal point of the book, rather, it seemed like the plot was a device to be able to connect the different thoughts presented in the book.

The character of Elias was quite an interesting character. Exceptionally bright, as we see him multiplying lengthy numbers in one scene. Not afraid to question authority, but also never rude about it. He's the kind of kid that you would talk to and always wonder just what the limits of his intellect are. There were a variety of other characters in the book, although we don't get to know them quite as well, and we never read thoughts, only the actual dialogue spoken by any character.

The ending was rather unexpected, and in some ways a little abrupt, but in other ways, very fitting for a book in which each chapter is only a few pages. The last sentence in the book was definitely odd and unexpected, but it did leave me with a smile.

Overall, I felt oddly calm after reading the book. It made me think, and sometimes the concepts that were introduced seemed a little bit awkward or heavy-handed in that they didn't always fit right into the plot well, but the book still somehow worked to make a cohesive whole. It was easy to read, and easy to read quickly, as the chapters moved very smoothly. Elias's character was consistent throughout the book - even when he said something surprising, it still fit in with the rest of who he was. I would like to know a kid like Elias, honestly, and I love the encouragement he is given at the end - it's something we should all strive to do.

Nothing like anything I've read before! This is a great book to get yourself outside your normal box of thinking. It's very controversial and can definitely cause upset with what you're used to. However, if you can force yourself to keep an open mind, you may find a lot in here that will be beneficial to your life. This new age self help book is written like a screen play so you can easily picture it in your head.

This book taught me how large a role my subconscious plays in my daily life, and gave me the tools to align that subconscious with my goals & dreams. Now I can live each day with intention & purpose, without the inner conflict that often derailed my efforts in the past.

Why are there not other reviews on this thought-provoking book? It certainly opened my eyes to how our subconscious is responsible for our health, wealth, and many other issues. And I realized I sure need work on my own subconscious! I've highlighted many, many passages, and I will save this book to read again and again.
