Q: Why doesn't the mouse react when I insert the wireless mouse receiver into this product?

According to Intel, USB 3.0 devices have noise of 2.4-2.5 GHz, which may affect communication using this frequency band. Therefore, 2.4 GHz wireless devices (wireless keyboard, mouse adapter, etc.) may not work near a USB 3.0 device or hub.It may cause some lags on wireless mouse.

We recommend connecting to a USB 2.0 port. Or use an extension cable to keep the receiver away from the USB 3.0 cable.

Q: Why there is no data output?

Please make sure if the DC power connection DC input;

Please make sure if the connection is good;

Please use standard USB cable.

Q: Why the Ethernet port did not work?

A: Please remove the Ethernet cable from Ethernet port, then re-plug it

B: Use the USB hub with another computer or use another Ethernet cable with this hub.

Q: Does this multi-port hub get warm?

When the hub is fully loaded or Ethernet port connected, the working temperature can reach up to 130°F (55°C), which may feel warm to touch.

About 1 minute it will cool down if stop work.

Q: Did not get the gigabit (full) speed?

This adapter supports 10/100/1000 Mbps speed. 1Gbps speed also depends on CAT6 & up Ethernet cable, gigabit router, available gigabit-level service and maximum capacity of laptop's network interface card.

Q: Can all ports be used at one time?

This USB hub have over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit protection function. If over the max 12V/5A power will caused device to disconnect.

So we did not advice connect all ports at one time.

You get what you paid for. Having ordered, then returned, a cheaper USB hub, I sought out this powered hub (meaning one power cable and one USB 3.0 device cable coming out of it; options for USB-A and USB-C, which is appreciated) and am impressed.

Construction: Its metal chassis has a quality feel. In general, its design is well thought out. The USB ports have enough space between them to accommodate larger/novelty USB sticks. Could've used little rubber pads or similar along the bottom, but that's probably just me.

Power saving: There are buttons and LEDs beside each of the six ports. Tap the button to turn on the port and corresponding LED. Hold the button to turn it off. Less vampire-draining of your power while the ports aren't in use.

Transfer speeds: I didn't benchmark them for this review, but speeds are comparable to in-unit USB ports and card readers. The idea of waiting 9 minutes to transfer an SD card full of photos sounds much better than 21 hours, which is what my previous hub offered.

Inoffensive LEDs: My biggest hesitation was the fact that this had typically piercing blue LEDs on it. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger to learn that they're meant to be informative, rather than in your face. Depending on your lighting environment, you may have to squint or shade the hub to see which ports are on or off, but I'd much rather that than be blinded by a power indicator or put electrical tape over the lights.
