Picked up this fan for my daughter so she could have some air circulation when she is on her top bunk (much cheaper than installing a low profile ceiling fan!!!). It's so great that it can be plugged in and work at her desk, but she can also use it on her bunk shelf- cord free!For being as small as it is, it works so well. I wanted a small fan for my nightstand because my hubby can’t stand it and I now NEED it since I’m an aging woman! This fan is small but mighty! This thing has become my best friend and I sleep so much better! It oscillates well, and it’s adorable! It didn’t come with a remote control, which is one of the questions in the review, but I wasn’t expecting or needing one :)

I use USB fans when I travel and good ones are hard to find. This is easily the best one I have purchased. The 3 speed option, oscillation toggle and up/down positioning are really nice and it puts out a lot of air for as small as it is. I would buy more of these in a heartbeat.
