This a VERY fast paced book. 🏃🏻‍♀️💨 When they started getting their freak on, I was like wow this is early for a Loni Ree book maybe this means the book will have a few steamy scenes, but looked down and it was at 56ish%.😳. I was into the book and really wasn’t paying attention to the length of book.
I read this through KU. I don’t think I am going to buy it. I would if it was .99 but not $2.99😐 I recommend it though especially if you have Kindle Unlimited. There really isn’t that much drama or action, like I said it is very fast paced. You can read this on a short lunch break. It has a little steam, 1 in the story and a short quickie in the epilogue, so it IS safe for work imo.
I’m very much looking forward to the next book on Constantine, though that is weeks away. I read this book on the day it was released, 03/21/2023.
