De La Cruz Natural Castor Oil is expeller-pressed from the bean of the castor plant grown and nurtured in India. It is 100% pure. It has a unique composition that is high in ricinoleic acid which retains moisture by preventing water loss through the outer layer of the skin or hair shaft.

For hydrated and moisturized hair, apply a few drops on damp hair, rub on scalp and massage onto the hair shaft all the way to the ends. I purchased this castor oil originally to take orally and help with my digestion. But honestly it smelled so bad I thought it was rancid so I requested an exchange. Meanwhile I decided to use a little topically to see if it worked on the skin. The oil was very thick and rich. I tried it on the skin and the smell was still bad but I noticed after a short period the smell disappeared once it was in contact with the skin. I started using it almost daily when I got out of the shower. I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin especially on my face. Yes on my face! I have sensitive skin and it does not break me out. I use it at night as the last step in my routine (a little goes a long way!) I wake up with soft glowy skin. But the real surprise has been my hair. I have super curly non porous hair that is prone to breaking and split ends. My hair was dry, breaking, and lifeless. I started using this in my hair and my hair looks AMAZING! And it is growing like crazy and thicker! I use it mainly after a fresh shampoo on wet hair. I can't stand the smell to take internally but will continue to use everywhere else!
