Blender Container will fracture within months.
Container will fracture at base within months if you use it regularly. I bought 1 for myself, a 2nd for my girlfriend and then bought another for myself when the blender container on the first one fractured at multiple locations and could not be operated without leaking. All 3 had fractures within months. Guess I should have realized that the low price point was a result of lack of engineering and and inadequate QA/QC. Why should I have assumed that they would test the product before marketing it?

I have had the blender for a day and I cannot turn it counter clockwise to release the jar from the base. I have looked at all the you tube videos they instruct on the release button for the lid, nothing for the base infuriating to say the least. I should be able to release the jar easy enough by turning counter clockwise as instructions indicate someone please help

This blender is great! I used it primarily for smoothies. It has a smoothie button which is really nice. The smoothie button starts and stops to get a good blend together. It worked great the smoothie was smooth lol. The best way to clean a blender? Put a drop of soap in the blender, water, and turn the blender on for a bit. I did that with the low setting and even the low setting was awesome!

Blender does a great job, but after using it twice, the handle on the cover jammed. The edge of the cover lifts to become the handle, and with moving parts, it should not be made of plastic. If you cannot secure the cover on the cup, the blender doesn't work. I was able to contact Ninja, and they are going to replace the cup, blade and cover. Yes, you cannot buy just the cover, and if you had to pay for it, it is very pricey! They were, however, very nice in offering the full replacement. sq

These are the only cups available for this model and they are crazy expensive. But other than that, it's a pretty great blender.
