    From the enlightenment era onward, the concept of curses and spells has largely been interpreted as irrational superstition. Despite this, curses and spells have continued to exist, and even thrive, in a world that no longer believes in them. Ryuho Okawa has composed an excellent handbook for understanding the nature of curses and the ways in which they manifest, which may come as a surprise to many readers in that most curses are not necessarily born from elaborate rituals, but everyday thoughts and intentions... This is highly recommended reading for anyone desiring to be more attuned to the spiritual realities of our lives.
