Editorial Reviews

Review

"For more than a decade now, Carey A. Tune has poured much time and effort into investigating Islam, Muhammad, the Qur'an, and the Islamic sources. The result of his research is articles such as the ones you will find in this book, in which he combines the gift of writing and teaching that the Lord has given him to bring his insights on Islamic teaching and the Bible." - Mari Kaimo, Apologika.

"This book is a comprehensive look into the lives of both Muhammad and Jesus. It will be immensely beneficial to both Muslims and Christians. You may think you know everything about Muhammad and Jesus, but this book is jam-packed with so much information, it's impossible for you not to learn something you did not previously know. I have been involved with Christian apologetics for over ten years and I still learned things about both Muhammad and Jesus that I didn't know before. I can't recommend this book highly enough!" -
Mark Chetkin, Christian-Muslim Debate.

"Very comprehensive and informative. A must-read. For Muslims, it is an opportunity to read the facts, rather than the fiction that they have been told by their Imams. For Christians, it provides the information required to challenge Muslims with the truth on the deity of Christ in comparison with the deception and delusional thoughts of Muhammad." -
Frederick Shaw, Elim Pentecostal Church, Northern Ireland.

"Carey A. Tune pours a treasure trove of facts and truths into the pages of this book. He highlights the points Muslim apologists and secular mainstream talking heads omit, and he presents it ALL within true historical and scriptural context. I would recommend this book to anyone getting involved in Christian / Muslim apologetics. You will need to drape yourself with the armor of God's Word and this book, my friend, is part of that armor. Share the truth with others and tell them who Muhammad was and who Jesus is." -
F. Steven Perez, E-MAMS: Muslim and Christian Forum.

"This book is a must-have for all Christians who want to evangelize Muslims to know the truth behind Mohammed and his revelations. It is with the intention of bringing Muslims to Jesus that this book has been written. This is not an easy task. Muslims easily take offense at anything against their prophet, but this book will provide you with a lot of information to have debates and discussions. You will realize here that a lot of the typical Muslim arguments against Jesus are incorrect. Carey has taken great effort to demolish all these Muslim arguments one by one. You will not be left in any doubt at all. This book will empower the reader in many ways. You will learn a lot about both Mohammed and Jesus, and you will know that Mohammed is a fraud." -
Kevin Menezes, Christian-Muslim Debate.

"Carey A. Tune is a man with many years of apologetics and polemics studies and an active member in debates with Muslims on Islam and Christianity. I have been collaborating with him for a long time and can attest to his expertise on the subject. He approaches the matter from various sides, leaving no stone unturned. The writer analyses every necessary aspect of Muhammad's mind and actions to come to a proven conclusion as to his veracity and truthfulness. It is done with all seriousness but with a healthy dose of humour, that lightens the reading experience. What does the book use to build Muhammad's character and life for presentation to the reader? The Quran and his own words in the hadith. One-sided? Not really, as they are enough to prove every claim. Besides, since they are HIS words, no Muslim can doubt them. Moreover, finding his opponent's views is bordering on impossibility. The fact that there are no opposing records to show, proves a very important point. None survived. The annihilation of Muhammad's enemies, their writings, and their history was complete, unwittingly proving genocide. Claims of Muhammad being prophesied in the Bible are also dealt with conclusively. I exhort everyone who is interested in Islam to read this book. It is a must in order to receive all-round knowledge on Islam's creator and compare it with Islamic books on him. Also, for those who wish to arm themselves in apologetics to counter invalid arguments for Muhammad and against Christianity. You will be uplifted and edified, increase in knowledge and prepared for any encounter or debate." -
Christos Terzis, ChristBanner.

From the Author

A Muslim and I engaged in a conversation about Muhammad recently. It was cordial until I asked him about his prophet's suicide attempts.

At this, the Muslim began foaming at the mouth, spewing profanities and calling down curses. He accused me of lying about his prophet and of being an Islamophobe. Is it offensive to state a
fact about Muhammad? The authentic Islamic hadith narrations affirm Muhammad did try to kill himself. I know. I have read it.

Like many Muslims, the truth is that this Muslim is unaware of the Muhammad portrayed in their books. The vast majority of Muslims were raised on largely sentimental narratives about their prophet, growing up on feel-good stories they heard from their parents and teachers.

This is really two books in one. The first is about Muhammad. Was he the perfect role model for humanity that Muslims venerate? The second book is about Jesus. Every budding Muslim apologist is taught to parrot the challenge, "
Where did Jesus say that he is God?" From Deedat to Naik, from Morocco to Malaysia. The chapters in this section will be essentially focused on answering that question. Who is Jesus? Is he God? We'll study Jesus' claims and assertions and what the Bible says about him.

Carey A. Tune cannot use his real name. He grew up in a Muslim country. In childhood, his best friends were a Muslim, Aminuddin, and a Buddhist, Chan.

His house was a mere stone’s throw away from a mosque. He heard the sounds of the adhan (Muslim call to prayer) loud and clear, five times a day, every day for years. To this day, he can recite the adhan, pitch-perfect like the best muezzins.

As a Christian, he has a colorful background. Brought up in a Lutheran family. Attended a Presbyterian Sunday School as a child. Joined a Charismatic church in his teens. Affiliated with the AOG in university. Got married in the Methodist church and presently serves in a Baptist church. He insists that he does not suffer from any personality disorders.

Carey has degrees in Science and Divinity.
