Find My app is a pre-installed app on devices from Apple. It allows you to locate eufy SmartTrack via the Find My network，which is a network of hundreds of millions of Apple devices to detect missing devices or items nearby and report their location.

How do I add my SmartTrack device to Apple's Find My app?

Press and hold the button on SmartTrack for 3 seconds, you will hear a tone. Open the Find My app and tap Items > + > Add Other Item. Find My will find your SmartTrack device. Follow the on screen prompts to complete setup.

Is SmartTrack certified by Apple?

Yes, it is certified and works seamlessly with the Find My app and network.

Does it have GPS?

No, it doesn't. SmartTrack connects to devices via Bluetooth and reports its location through Apple's Find My network.

Can I use SmartTrack if I am an Android user?

No, you can not use SmartTrack Link on Android services.

The Amazon description says "iOS only." All the reviews are from the Apple-verse (as of this writing). I'm an Android person. I ordered the product and didn't realize it was Apple only. I received but couldn't return the product so I didn't even open it, and I thought that one day maybe an Apple person who needed a tracker would drift by and when I handed it over it would be their lucky day.

Then I got bored and opened the package and set up the trackers through the Eufy Security App (I have some of their security cameras, so I had the app), and just like that, I had a SmartTrack that really works.

It's very easy to set up. It really works. Now we can find the dog in the event that she bolts. On a Google Pixel (kept up to date) phone.

I like these trackers. They are easy to set up. The main instruction is within their app after you activate the trackers and download the app. For iPhone users, the trackers work with Find My iPhone app, so you don’t necessarily download their app. But if you want to use the tracker to find your phone (which function is not included in AirTag), you need to download their Eufy security app. Setting up either in their app or find my iPhone app is super easy. Just pressing the button until it beeps and phone finds the trackers instantly. For me, using the trackers to find my phone does not always work. Sometimes I have to leave the app open, while sometimes the signal is delayed. According to the troubleshooting info, you need to set to “always allow” for your phone to ring. I checked my phone and it was on “always allow”, but I’m not sure why it doesn’t work every time. Overall I like the trackers a lot. The trackers are made from plastic. They feel light weight and definitely add some thickness to my wallet, but they function as I expected yet cheaper than AirTag.

Das Produkt ist gut verpackt und macht einen wertigen Eindruck.
Leider lassen sich die Tracker weder mit dem iPhone noch mit der Android App verbinden. Sie werden erkannt, aber das war es dann leider auch schon.
Somit gehen sie zurück und es gibt dann halt das Produkt von Apple.
