What if I put in the wrong email address or phone number?

The email address or phone number can be updated until the card is redeemed. After that Amazon cannot cancel or re-fund your order and the balance cannot be transferred. If the gift card cannot be delivered we will notify you to update and resend.

How fast will an email or text message gift card be delivered?

Love the variety of graphics and animations for so many occasions. You can pick a predetermined amount to send or choose to send a specific amount. I have sent several of these and it is so easy from picking the gift card with or without an animation, to setting the amount to choosing how you want to send. You can have a physical gift card sent to you or the recipient, you can print it out and choose how to give it to the recipient, you can have it sent to your email or to the recipient's email. I have always had it sent directly to the recipient's email (or their parents for grandkids) and it has always been seamless. I get a notification from Amazon when the gift card has been delivered. Love the ease and simplicity of giving Amazon gift cards. Love it!

I have always had to use my imagination for my teen and younger grandchild. Being a girl teen and a adolescent boy, I mean I was getting at my wit's end. A teen girl is hard enough as they change their mind several times in a week.
A young boy is easier as anything that can keep him busy makes for a fine gift and the exhilaration lasts about as long as Christmas, which is about the best you can hope for being that you live across the country and only see them every few years.
Last year I finally gave up Christmas gifts, the hunting, trying to "know" what will be loved, even asking for mom's help to which none was available. I sent Christmas Gift Cards! Perfect!

**Year 2022": My daughter, their mother, called a month after Christmas, asking if I sent the gift cards? I have to admit I felt my stomach fall. I got no joy telling her that I had sent them same day we spoke. I had told her they were in her email, explained the reason there was more for 16yr old granddaughter vs 8yr old grandson.
It kind of bit me though,as I "heard" my value as a mother or grandmother fall. Also left me wondering what I suspect I know, why I had never even been told how they liked their gifts, these were not inexpensive just wanting to get something nice to make up for not being able to see them for last few years.
I hate to write it or think it as I know it's true, lack of real time spent with anyone cannot lead to a relationship. There is nothing to base it on but a name. So what are the gifts based on?
Same thing as Christmas, buying the biggest, best you can't afford just to show your children you love them. Got news, if they equate your love with gifts, you've already lost.
