The print quality is great and the printer is relatively simple to use. I wish I could give it a higher review. The motor to lift the plate went out after a month of use (about 15 prints). I had to order a new motor for $40 and it's being shipped from china which is taking longer than I like.

I upgraded to this Mono 2 from the Mono 4K. Confusing how Anycubic names their printers. Mono 2 is the upgrade to the Mono 4K?? It's a definite improvement in the print quality and certainly less failed print. Biggest differences are the lack of mess. Anyone who has used the Mono 4K knows how sloppy it is and resin spills everywhere. That's not an issue with the Mono 2. Stays clean and easier to change the LCD screen film when needed. After a year of using this printer, it's still super clean. It is ,however, much slower than the Mono 4k. Almost half the speed. I guess that's the trade off for less failed prints. Anycubics software is absolute garbage. I use Lychee Slicer and works great with this printer. Anycubic has already upgraded this model and is now hard to find. If you find one, it's worth it

i was nervous about diving into the world of 3d printing because it seemed complicated and beyond my ability. of course, there are things to learn, but this system made it incredibly easy. i watched a simple video to figure out how to use the slicer program. let me tell you, you don't have to be a genius to operate it. it's very simple and reliable.
as for the printing equipment, i can't say enough nice things. the steps for set up and operation are simple and easy to understand. it prints exactly as programmed with a high success rate, and the equipment feels well-made and sturdy. best of all, there's always a good deal on this from the seller. if i actually had the need to, i'd buy another one, just because it's such a good deal. they make higher tier printers, but this one suits me absolutely fine and it made me not only happy about my purchase, but happy that i'm now comfortably into the world of 3d printing

I purchased this printer at the suggestion of several friends who do a lot of 3D printing. I was informed that this would be a relatively simple machine to use for a beginner. And for the most part it was. If you only want to do a test print that is.

I was able to get the entire machine set up despite a hiccup with the screen protector for the LCD screen being already peeled open upon reception. Regardless, I proceeded to successfully do the test print that came on the usb that came with the printer.

After this first print the screen protector over the screen now had a massive hole about the size of a dime bore into it. I've been informed that this is a common thing to happen with screen protectors for these kind of printers, however this was after only a single print, with the test print on the lowest settings. I was advised by others who use this type of 3d printer that I could still print like this with the torn screen protector, so I started the next one after cleaning the basin.

Three hours later, the print did not complete. Once again, I cleaned the basin and assured that there were no issues and proceeded to set up the printer once more to do the print.

Another 3 hours pass. And we still have no evidence of a print happening. I then emptied the resin once more with an attempt to clean it further. And at this point, the basin now had two holes in it. And no print to show for it. I've also been informed that these basins do often need to be replaced from time to time. But I should not have to replace it on day one. I have now wasted about half of my day attempting to do 3D prints with only the test model successfully printing.

I understand that the grand scheme of things that these are relatively small issues to be having with a 3-D printer. Since I understand that these are things that need to be replaced in the long run. However, in the short run, one should not have to replace components that come sealed, new in box.

I'm highly disappointed in what I have received. It does not take an expert in 3D Printing to understand that a machine should not be shipped with defective components that require replacement almost directly out of box.

Im glad to say it works beautifully, after some troubleshooting and googling I was able to get a print to not stick the the FEP film. However I will say Im immensly dissapointed in the quality of the screws for the leveling plate. In my troubleshooting tightening the screws on the plate I managed to accidentally strip one of them. Now, It obviously didnt effect the ability of the machine to print but it does concern me greatly for the longevity of the part. I was really hoping to atleast get a few projects done before Id have to consider replacing a part let alone any real heavy matenience. Given this is an older model, I can only hope that the following machines addressed this issue and that I can find a reasonably priced back up tray. Will keep posted with updates if I remember. Hopefully I wont have to for a long time, but we shall see.

Update. Only a day or two after I made this review my machine died randomly. Now, I know, why did I increase my review? Because Anycubics customer service is literally the pinnavle of customer service. Not only did they help me diagnose my motherboard as faulty, they offered me a free replacement and a replacement buildplate in lue of a $30 refund for the inconvience. I have yet to recieve the mobo or tray, but thats because it was sent out maybe yesterday I beleieve. But I have to say, they really put forth their best foot and hopefully with these parts fixed my machine will continue to churn out my armies of tiny people.

Me pareció una impresora 3D muy completa para quienes buscan alta precisión en resina sin gastar demasiado. La pantalla monocromática 4K+ de 6.6’’ ofrece muy buen nivel de detalle y se nota la diferencia en la definición de las piezas.

La matriz LightTurbo actualizada hace que los tiempos de impresión sean más rápidos y uniformes, algo que se agradece en proyectos grandes. El área de impresión de 6.49'' x 5.62'' x 3.5'' es suficiente para piezas medianas, aunque obviamente se queda corta si buscas modelos muy grandes.
