I bought the big 5 pack. The pineapple grenade hoppers go on top and you shoot. There's a power switch on the bottom and it comes with a battery for each gun. The Rail for the ammo hoppers are really fragile. If you twist it too much, they break...There's this ring that is around it to hold it tighter, but the ring is so thin, it breaks if someone tightens it too much. It doesn't take a lot of force to over-tighten it either. A lot less force than you'd imagine. The rail part (not counting the ring) isn't fully attached together. Once the ammo hoppers are over-tightened and it breaks, it no longer holds the ammo securely and you have the ammo falling off unless you're careful. I was so upset with this until I got some super glue and glued the black piece together. The ring was weak even after gluing it, it broke again, but the part it went around...that part when I glued it, it actually stayed together. I turned and tightened it and it was able to withstand normal tightening. Not just the teeny weak tightening where you go just until you feel a little force, and if you go past that little force, it breaks. I was actually able to tighten it past where I felt a teeny pressure. My nephews are heavy handed and now that I fixed them, they haven't broken.
These have 1 fire speed. Auto. No single shot speed. We keep the extra grip on for aim. It aims better than some. Since the hopper is on the top, you can't actually aim down any sights, so you're just shooting in the general direction, but it fires pretty straight and consistently. I have some targets that I shot at and they were pretty reliable in hitting the same target twice. I do have some that don't hit in the same spot twice, and I can happily say, this one can and does unless the gel bead explodes while leaving the chamber. These shoot faster than my more expensive gel blaster, but it also means it runs out of ammo faster.
I like these and am happy I got them. We played with them just tonight and were having fun running around in the dark shooting each other. It's nice that it comes with 5 glasses for the 5 guns. The glasses are a little small (close to the eyeballs) for adults, but they work. As with all of the guns I got so far, they come with beads. I'm glad I got these. We have a lot of fun with them.
