For me, this is the best album they’ve ever released. Lot of musicians contributed to overall record. I hear faint echoes of Eric Clapton on one song, ELO on a couple, Elton. The other guys are front and center also with vocals, guitars, bass and drums. Maybe I was really in a mood to hear this because amazon got it to me on release day. Awesome album.

This album is just plain old fun. Yes this is A7X but it is hard to tell. A lot of the groups music influence comes through on some of the tracks and some of the tracks are cinematic rocks. There are more than a few of the tracks that get stuck in your head and that is the point of the music I believe. Some hard core fans of A7X might be put off by this album but that would be their loss. Any fan of Starset would love this album with its heavy cinematic rock feel.

Avenged Sevenfold a simplement décidé de faire un album de musique, plutôt qu'un album de Metal. Lorsque met cela dans notre esprit et qu'on écoute l'album à part entière, les chansons dans l'ordre et en lisant les paroles, c'est tout simplement leur meilleur matériel depuis City Of Evil. On entend énormément d'influences différentes, un drum complexe et mis de l'avant plan, une thématique hallucinante et 5 musiciens qui ont du plaisir. The Rev serait fier.

Si vous êtes un peu plus fermé dans vos style musicaux (ce qui est correct), et que vous cherchez un album de pure Metal, ce n'est pas pour vous. Si vous aimez la musique en général peu importe le style, achetez!
