    This thing is blazing fast. Installing this made me realize that download speeds from the Internet may also depend how fast the data can be transferred to your drive. Literally doubled my download speeds having this plugged in as a main drive.

    Pros: excellent price for a 2TB, very fast, very reliable. I filled mine up within a week, just downloading games. Welcome to the age of 100GB updates.

    Cons: it's not actually the fastest version you can get, I just don't have enough to get the pci4x4. This gen 3 gets 3500mb/s while a gen 4 gets around 7500mb/s.

    Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

    Works as it should but you can definitely see the lack of a decent cache when used with a thunderbolt 4 nvme adapter (you are probably not going to use the drive this way). Except for that the drive is solid.

    This was a great drive and fast as well, problem is I decided to purchase a "budget" thunderbolt cable from an off brand. Plugged in the enclosure containing the drive and no bueno, the enclosure was hot within a minute. Unplugged it and tried three known good cables and the drive is bricked. Cost me seventy dollars to save ten on a cable.
