I’ve really missed nong shim shin ramyun since going wheat free. I was skeptical bc I had tried lotus foods pho noodles and those are absolutely terrible. Luckily, these were way better and with the addition of a teaspoon or so of samabila Korean ramen seasoning, they’re a pretty good dupe for shin ramyun!Though make sure you cook the noodles for 8 minutes. I tried the 4 minute cook time and the noodles were still hard. At 6 minutes, the noodles were al dente but still too hard for my tastes but at 8 minutes the noodles have a chewy consistency similar to the nong shim noodles 🤩. Gives me plenty of time to add an egg or two and some veggies for a decently balanced meal.Without the additional flavor, it is definitely a bit lackluster but passable. But highly recommend pairing these with some samabila!
These are so tasty, when you cook them correctly. Don't rush the cooking, best cooked stove top and maybe even cook them a bit longer than suggested on the packet. But these are Very tasty and satisfying. Will buy again.
Does it have less flavor than a Maruchan ramen packet? Yes. Is the flavor missing salt? Pretty sure, which makes this product better in my opinion. I was looking for an easy 'quick meal' and this fits the bill. Add a bit of other seasonings and some protein and it comes together very quickly to make an easy, filling meal.

I was enticed to try a ramen-ish soup with rice noodles, so I picked up a pack of these. My first attempt following the package directions was a miss- the noodles clumped together and didn't fully cook. They were decidedly al dente, but that's not what I want in a soup.
My advice is to go a bit beyond the package directions. I've found the noodles have a better texture after simmering for 5-6 minutes instead of the recommended 4. The miso soup flavor is very tasty, but distinctly different from the "ramen" type flavors that one may be used to. In fact, the only thing this has in common with ramen is that you boil noodles- the resulting product is very different.
With that said, this is a very tasty miso soup with noodles. I like that it's relatively lower calories and much less sodium than traditional ramen soups. It's great for a quick snack or a lazy work lunch. If cooking at home, adding some small tofu strips or sprinkling some furikake over top pushes it to the next level.
Overall, very tasty and worth the purchase. Just don't expect either ramen or it being ready in 4 minutes.

This is one of my favorite healthy, simple meals, and an absolute go-to when myself or my kids are sick. The rice noodles are a beautiful jade green (the package says it's chlorophyll...so it's like dehydrated sunshine), and a delicious miso powder with lots of seaweed bits in it. I add a thin pat of real butter to it to bring it to life and add a taste of fullness.
I make the miso soup package ahead of time for my soup thermos if I'm taking it to work...but I add the noodles at lunchtime. They don't like soaking for hours in the broth..they get really soggy. I break them up and then add them to the broth in my thermos, and let them sit about 5 mins....perfection!
The texture and flavor of the noodles are good, better than I expected. The miso packet contains a lot of seaweed and has a fishy flavor. I like the noodles but I’ll probably look for a different broth flavoring. I may try with half the seasoning packet (it’s like a flat brick) to see if that solves the soup flavoring & seaweed issue.

This was given to me by a friend the first time an still 3 years later this most recent purchase does not disappoint. No artificial flavor’s, no artificial color’s no MSG, no MSM, packs a very strong broth.
I could eat this everyday, much better than ramen noodles, as the ingredients are non GMO organic. Very easy to make, (1 ) : cut packet an put the noodles an the broth powder in a bowl, boil some filtered water an pour into the bowl, cover with plate, let stand for 4 minutes. ( 2 ) Boil water an add the noodles an the broth powder packet, cover wait 4 minutes enjoy ( 3 ) put in a medium sized bowl, ( Ramen noodle cooker works as well for all those college kids ) place the noodles in the bowl, pour water in until the noodles are covered, place in the microwave for 4 minutes, remove with hot pads, cut the broth powder packet, add an stir in, enjoy. ( FYI ) for those of you wondering there is Nori or organic seaweed ( yes you can eat seaweed ) in the product just little strips, it’s 100% edible & found in sushi.
Pack of 10 lasts quite a while, if i could get this in bulk for the same price I’d buy it.
I have been ordering these gluten- noodles for years. They are always on my monthly order. I do not add the "soup pack" because I avoid spicy foods
These noodles contain only brown-rice flour and millet flour; and, are an excellent substitute for wheat-based noodles. I have them for almost every dinner; adding vegetables, protein, sauce, etc.

Really yummy. Enjoyed them very much. I would buy them quite often but with that price and additionally almost the same costs in shipping will make this a rare happening.
