Great stress management books
This is a great book. I really enjoyed how this author used bullet points and lists instead of endless paragraph, especially for a self-help book. This author does a great job giving examples of the negative and positive sides of stress. At the end of the chapters that discuss ways to help stress, Val gives lightbulb ideas like journaling or exercises that can be implemented from the information from the chapter that was just read.I would recommend this book to adults as well as teens. This would be a great resource to have in high schools.

What is the one thing we ALL have in our life? STRESS. There is good stress, and bad stress - and then there are the times the stress goes above and beyond normal, and becomes a disorder. But what can we do to manage stress? We can learn to BALANCE our lives - and our stress.
It is one thing to understand this concept, and another to actually be given the tools to do it. This book gives you the knowledge, the tools, and most importantly, WHY these strategies bring balance to our lives.
There are sections on mental health issues as well - and very detailed chapters on improving your overall mental health.
We all need a reset sometimes - this book will actually help you do it!
Highly recommend!
