- Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2023I was so excited to add another book from Alicia Bayer to my home library. I now have A Is For Acorns right next to Poems from Under a Toadstool. This is such a fun book to read, and it's just the perfect length if you have little ones who can't sit still for long. The illustrations are so well done and grab your attention. And I love the "extras" in the back - pictures of plants to forage and even a page to take notes. Well done!

I don't have small children but after buying my first copy, I bought 2 more to have on hand for gifts. This is a perfect all age gift and great to add to your daily walk with your furry companion. At 50+ years old, I have enjoyed learning several new things from this book.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2023What a fun foraging book! My six year old told me to give it a 10 out of 10. As we read it together she turned the fun rhymes into songs. We have many of these plants in our own back yard so it was exciting to see them in the book. As a parent, I especially loved that the book includes a kids foraging pledge to teach kids to be safe and responsible foragers.
Highly recommend and this book would make a great gift, too!
