I like Ancient Nutrition products so I thought I would try the hydrate w/probiotics. I made to the instructions. Drink tasted like salty water and little to no berry taste. Only giving a one star due to taste. I'll just stick to the collagen protein.

Tried the Hydrate variety of AN collagen which may be different from the original. It had a strong odor, not really offensive but strong. Has a definite taste, not good with coffee. Could not get it to dissolve completely in very hot coffee. AND it takes 20 oz of fluid per scoop! Forget taking it in morning coffee which is my favorite time to take collagen. Also that 1 scoop only provides 9gm of collagen. Takes alot of fluid to dissolve 2 scoops. Maybe it could be dissolved in a blender, maybe a large morning fruit flavored smoothie would disguise the smell, and taste. To me, this was a waste of money.

I have the lemon-lime and honestly it doesn’t taste too bad. Most collagen powders tastes pretty gross but I can drink this without mixing it into anything. Easily dissolves in water and I can tell a difference in my nail strength and growth. I drink it every morning
