I feel this cook book would help with that fear because freezer dried food sounds a little safer than the food out there today in society. If you get food in bulk freeze drying it would be a great way to preserve it for years. It includes information on tools and accessories to help you. The book even goes over many of the freeze dryers so you car figure out which would work best for your family.
