About the Author

Brian Sussman is an award-winning meteorologist, Hall of Fame talk radio host, author, and podcaster. After graduating from the University of Missouri, Brian became a TV meteorologist and science reporter for KPIX Channel 5 in San Francisco, as well as the regular fill-in weather reporter for CBS This Morning in New York. Prompted by an urge to speak his mind about politics and current events, he transitioned to talk radio in San Francisco on KSFO-AM, where he hosted The KSFO Morning Show for nearly two decades while also filling in for Mark Levin’s and Michael Savage’s national programs. His first book, Climategate: A Veteran Meteorologist Exposes the Global Warming Scam, instantly became a bestseller. He hosts his own podcast called The Brian Sussman Show.

Following graduation from the University of Missouri, Brian became the youngest TV news director in the US, managing the local ABC newsroom in Columbia, Missouri where his duties included anchoring the evening news. Eventually he returned to school to receive meteorology credentials and then became the meteorologist for CBS-5 in San Francisco and the fill-in weatherman for CBS This Morning in New York, positions he held through the eighties and nineties.

In 2001, Sussman departed TV for conservative talk radio, hosting The KSFO Morning Show in San Francisco and regularly filling-in for syndicated personalities Mark Levin and Michael Savage.

In 2010, Brian wrote CLIMATEGATE: A Veteran Meteorologist Exposes the Global Warming Scam. The book was launched on Sean Hannity's TV show and soared to the top twenty of all books sold on Amazon. In 2012, Sussman released ECO-TYRANNY: How the Left's Green Agenda Will Dismantle America.

Sussman retired from his radio program in 2019 and began “The Brian Sussman Show” podcast. In 2024, Post Hill Press published his new book, CLIMATE CULT: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty, and Property.

This is not just another scientific book about climate change! This is a clear and brilliant presentation of the battle between man-made Laws of Men (Marxism) vs inalienable Laws of Nature (Creator-granted Individual Rights of Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness). Sussman brilliantly explains the fundamental difference in the philosophies of Karl Marx and John Locke.
The left's climate change agenda is just a tactic by Marxists/progressives through manipulated data and messaging to instill fear and guilt in the public to control them and get money. They have manufactured all the elements of a Cult as slaves to their ideology. To be part of their Cult, you need to accept that only a few un-elected elites at the top are smart enough to control your rights, government and planet. It truly is a Climate Cult!

As a meteorologist, I have been arguing with the 'climatistas' since the late 80s. Climate change science stopped being a 'science' a long time ago, when the politicians glommed onto the issue. (Hello, Al Gore!)
Brian Sussman's 3rd book on the climate cabal exposes the truth. This is no longer science, it's a cult.
Many faux scientists will tell you the science is settled. That's what Rev. Jim Jones said right before he started serving drinks! My advice: Don't drink the Flav-or-aide. Read the book!

I’ve watched Brian Sussman’s career from TV meteorologist to San Francisco talk show host to author. I purchased the audio version of Climate Cult and was pleased to hear his voice narrating the book! It's like he is back on the radio! Like his other books, Climate Cult straight forward with personal stories and anecdotes as well as loads of research in which he is able to breakdown complex issues for those of us without a degree in science. His arguments are very convincing. He makes it clear that the climate change movement is not about a "pristine environment," but about greed, power, control, and a well-concerted effort to take down America. You think the border is out of control? Just wait until we have an electrical grid powered by wind and solar panels. Brian also dares to talk about the frightening plans for geo-engineering. I rate this five stars.

I’m now finding it critical to dig deeper when exposed to “mass” or “global” messaging. Also, when I hear vague references to so-called “experts” I now want to know who they are, the depth of their expertise and most importantly, who/what is funding their conclusions. “The Climate Cult” pulls back the covers on today’s climate hysteria with revealing historical climate data and penetrating insight into what’s driving this movement. After reading this well investigated account, I’m convinced the present “global crisis” has very little to do with the weather.
