Easy install and faster load times compared to HDD that was replaced. I would have liked the 2TB instead of the 1TB but it seems the 2TB is usually out of stock . About half the price of name brand SSD's and comes with a 5 year warranty .

    I'm using an SFF PC at my wife's salon/boutique as a Blue Iris NVR. For various reasons, we've kept adding IP cameras. Disk space eventually became an issue, as the number of rolling days of retained recordings dropped to 3 days. The solution? Add 4TB of SSD, of course!

    I don't know if my requirements are common, but I wanted a SATA interface (my SFF didn't have any NVMe slots open), 4TB capacity, NO QLC, and I wanted the lowest price possible. I settled on the Fikwot FX812 PRO 4TB. I was a little familiar with the Fikwot brand, previously using an FS810 drive, so I figured the scam potential was low. But hey... trust, but verify, right? The first thing I did was to verify the drive capacity using RMPrep - and it's a real 4TB drive!

    Aside from that, there really aren't any surprises. SATA III isn't fast anymore, so it's no surprise that the FX812 is able to perform to the interface bandwidth. I didn't crack the drive open and verify that it's using TLC, but I figure the sustained write speed more or less confirmed it. It's hard to be excited about TLC, but when QLC is the alternative, it's still the lesser evil. I also can't say if the cache is HMB or not, but the performance is worlds better than cacheless units. Considering that the drive is in an NVR, I'm not really as worried about raw performance, as I am about durability. The 5 year/3200 TBW warranty means that I should time out before I hit my write limit (~1 full drive write/16 days).

    As it is, I'm happy with the FX812 PRO - 4TB of TLC for $180 (at the time of this review) makes this an awesome choice. I'll update this review if I run into any reliability issues. Highly Recommended

    Plugged the disk in to a usb3 adaptor, then plugged the adaptor in to a usb slot. Opened the disk manager and formatted it instantly. No problems, and the price is right. It was also delivered same-day without a hitch. This replaces a slightly more expensive WD Blue SSD that didn’t last a month. I’ll update the review if this one gives out as well.

    Installed this in an Acer Nitro 5 laptop (Intel I9 running Windows 11) as an additional drive for installing games. So far the drive seems good, transfer speeds are fast, and match what the drive is rated for in the specifications. Crystal Disk reports as zero hours, and 4 power cycles out of the box, so drives are new. Storage amount is correct. So far no issues. Took a risk buying a brand name I'm not familiar with but so far it seems solid and just as good as any other brand. Hopefully it will last as long as the big name drives. Note you do not get any extra accessories, or software with this drive, which some of the bigger names provide. If you know what you are doing and have these utilities already, you can save yourself some money. Unit came in professional looking package and included basic hook up instructions in multiple languages. Artwork on decal on the drive gives it a nice look if you have it visible once installed.

    lo mejor del producto el precio, tambien que al contrario que la mayoria de ssd de esta capacidad ofrece 256 GB en vez de 240 GB, lo que facilita operaciones de clonacion de discos desde hdd si no se tiene una utilidad que ajuste los tamaños, por ejemplo una base de clonacion de 2 bahias, funcionaria bien. por poner un pero, me ha dado un probelma de reconocimiento de hardware en un PC con una placa ASUS ya antigua, que probablemente no tenia actulaizada BIOS o controladores de disco. como disco de almacenamiento, perfecto tanto en PC como en MAC, como disco de sistema hay que comprobar que lo reconozca bien la BIOS.
