This Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes in a 500-mL (16.9 fl. oz.) glass bottle.The olive oil has a creamy texture, with a faint peppery, spicy taste. I poured some on a spoon and slurped it up. My tongue/throat felt a very mild burning sensation.I use extra virgin olive oil (in salads, when cooking, as part of a dip ingredient, etc) for the health benefits they provide.I like the high quality manner in which this product is made. There is one ingredient: extra virgin olive oil. There are no additives or preservatives.Harvest date (1/14/2021) and Best-Before date (6/01/2023) are located on the back of the product label, near the bottom of the bottle.Lastly, I like it when extra-virgin olive oils are not in clear-looking bottles, as this protects the oil better (that is, keeping it more fresh) from light exposure than a clear bottle.Overall, I love how fresh-tasting this extra virgin olive oil is.

First, the bottle is perfect. We have a lot of the tall, skinny olive oil bottles. Those need to sit out on our counter because they are so easy to knock over in our Lazy-Susan. This shorter, wider bottle has a cool, unusual look and can be stored so easily. And, the design of the bottle keeps it safe from sunlight (it has a nice little sleeve on it that protects the contents). Love that!

I made a pumpkin raisin bread with this (subbing in this for the vegetable oil in the recipe). It was delicious ... and it had all the benefits of EVOO. You can sub 1/1! And, I don't even notice the difference. So, there is no trade-off for all of the health benefits that come with a great EVOO.

This is also fantastic as a drizzle over Caprese salad (one of my absolute favorites dishes!). It has a great viscosity, it very light tasting, and enhances the flavor of everything else!

This is a really lovely EVOO. Great light taste, great viscosity! Highly recommended!
