First-Choice Life: Advocate for Your True Self and Live Your Dreams Kindle Edition

AMAZON BEST SELLER

Are you dreaming, or are you being dreamed?

Determining your own course in life is not as straightforward as you may think. Life seems designed to make us lose ourselves little by little from birth. Influenced by others, our past experiences, and our adaptations to circumstances, we can unknowingly end up living a second-choice life—a life that isn’t consciously chosen and doesn’t lead you on a path to what you truly want. When we live a second-choice life, we fail to achieve our true potential, creating a hole within ourselves and in the universe.

In this book, author Thea Rotteveel will playfully guide you to recognize how you have fallen into a second-choice life, discover how you can break free of it, and unlock a path toward a first-choice life and true fulfillment. Following Thea’s own journey of personal rediscovery—an odyssey both internal and spanning across continents—and equipped with exercises and prompts for self-reflection, you will learn how to redirect the course of your life to align with your unique, individual source and reconnect with your true self.

For those who feel there should be more to life or aren’t completely content with the way they are living, this book provides the tools to find passion, purpose, and happiness. Existence is not complete without your unique contribution, so start living the life you were meant to lead!

About the Author

Thea Rotteveel is a creative author, entrepreneur, and coach. Growing up between the tulip fields in the Netherlands and later near the harbor of IJmuiden, next to the sea, she quickly understood that what surrounds you can tell you a lot just by being quiet. For more than twenty-five years, she has been consulting for companies and institutions, helping them to understand “their why” in order to increase their impact and be successful. In addition to forging strong, diverse teams, teaching people to embrace their strengths and find their inner voice is vital in her approach to helping companies and employees flourish. In addition to being a much sought-after consultant and interim manager, she regularly makes time for creative projects. She painted, drew, and studied at the Writers’ School in Amsterdam, and produced the short film The Power in Heiloo that was broadcast on regional TV. She is a truth speaker who likes accelerating people’s paths by sharing her insights and life experiences. This is what her debut, First-Choice Life, is all about: an honest reflection of her inner journey. Written in a playful way, she shines her light on our growing pains.

She lives with her partner and plants in Bergen, the Netherlands, and enjoys hiking through the forest and along the beaches.
