The author provided a short overview of the history and definition of somatic exercises, good instructions on how to do the exercises, and most importantly (for me) pictures to accompany the exercise instructions. I am a visual person, so it helps tremendously to have pictures as a visual aid. I have yet to try all of the exercises, but some of them remind me of yoga. I like that the wall is used for some of them to help balance. I look forward to trying all the exercises and being less stressed!!
