Man, this book is awesome. As a fellow Christian, American, Southerner, Navy veteran, and Civil War enthusiast, there isn't much more I could ask for out of a book. I'm not even through Chapter 2 yet and I already like it for the same reasons I liked Hillbilly Elegy by J.D Vance. It's sad, it's funny, and it's authentic. More than anything it's a true American story that intertwines all kinds of fascinating topics and discoveries. From ancestry to what ACTUALLY caused the Civil War, there isn't a single chapter in this book that doesn't pique my interest. Check out the table of contents in the attached images. Hope everybody enjoys it as much as I am!
