I am interested in well-being, and all the various attributes that contribute to supporting people's quotidien in this light. In considering a person holistically; mental, physical, emotional and spiritual, I am motivated to explore how I can contribute to someone's well-being through these lenses.

Some areas of focus for me are;

* building self-directed positive mindsets

* diet choices and their impact

* body balance: exercise plus rest and relaxation

* basic 'life skills' development and

* those things that I believe help the soul....and broadly searching for those tools that may serve us through life.

Initially, motivated by a very genuine desire to help young people explore and implement strategies that will help them navigate a tough stage of life, it is my pleasure to bring together learnings, (as well as learnings from failings!) that I have had the pleasure of sharing with so many young people. I have started my book series here.

I have seen young people struggling with self-doubt, crippling fear, and overwhelming insecurities that undermine their confident development, and the strength to run after their potential. I have also worked, mentored, managed and coached young people who just need a little help here and there with tips and techniques they can apply, to feel a little more in control.

I grew up a sportsperson playing in both individual and team sports, I have worked in childcare and teaching, coached young sports people at an elite level, and then gone on to be a senior manager and leader in both Australian and US tech corporates. I now enjoy leading teams of young managers developing employment pathways for people living with disability.

Simply put, there is nothing as satisfying as watching the positive growth journey of a young person and delighting in the things they can achieve as they learn to feel confident in themselves.

In addition, I have experienced my own health challenges and through many trials and research, (and tears!) I have learned many things that have helped me - I share these in my book series. My aim is to help as many people as I can to navigate life with grace, and a renewed sense of well-being and confidence.

I live in Sydney, where I have raised my own beautiful grown son and daughter, am now loving life with my husband and sharing in enjoying his grown children too.

I was very impressed with all of the different aspects of perimenopause that are discussed I book. this is so much more than just a book of recipes so much great information about the process and how important diet exercise sleep, risk factors, things to consider and more at this time in a woman’s life. The recipes themselves look delicious with easy ingredients and simple instructions. I can’t wait to try some of these recipes!
