A lifelong fan of romance novels and telenovelas, Jane Gloriana Villanueva has worked as a publisher’s assistant at Silver Horizons and dating columnist for Cosmopolitan online. She is now thrilled to be publishing her first novel. Snow Falling is a sweeping historical romance based on Jane’s now-notorious true story of being accidentally artificially inseminated as a Catholic virgin, becoming the target of the nefarious crime lord Sin Rostro, and ultimately marrying her true love who died tragically young. I didn’t know this book existed until I found this while looking for books to read! When I found this, I immediately ordered it. I read it & couldn’t believe that it’s just like the book that Jane wrote in the show! Amazing! Came fast too. I love the fact that they kept Jane’s name & made it look the her character actually wrote it!! So neat!

Solo i fan di Jane the Virgin capiranno al volo la bellezza di questo libro e, probabilmente, verranno scossi da un brivido. E, fondamentalmente, questo libro è per loro: per chi ha amato Jane, per chi si è emozionato per lei, per chi ha tifato fino all'ultimo per Micheal o per Rafael (team Michael forever), per chi ha riso con Rogelio e pianto ogni volta che le tre donne Villanueva si sono sedute in veranda e si sono confidate a cuore aperto.

Snow Falling è il libro che Jane Gloriana Villanueva, protagonista di Jane the Virgin, scrive nella serie tv. Così come la serie tv, il libro parla della storia d'amore di Jane e Michael, del figlio che Jane ha con Rafael, delle avventure e disavventure di una giovane donna piena di speranze per il futuro ma con una strada piena di buche da percorrere.
Snow Falling ricalca la serie tv perché la stessa Jane si ispira alla sua vita per scrivere il libro; mi è capitato di leggere diverse lamentele a riguardo, lamentele sciocche perché nella serie tv si vede benissimo che Jane si ispira a ciò che le succede per scrivere il suo libro. Quindi la storia in sé non ha nulla di innovativo, ma è un vero e proprio omaggio a Jane, alla sua vita e a tutti i fan che l'hanno amata e sostenuta per 5 anni.

Il libro è scritto in inglese ma non temete: viene utilizzato un lessico colloquiale e di facile intuizione anche quando non si conoscono le singole parole. In ogni caso, è un bellissimo cimelio da avere anche se non si vuole leggere: del resto è il libro che ha scritto la nostra Jane!
