I needed a case/cover for my nextbook p7 and let's face it, there aren't very many product accessories out in the market for it without paying some cash for it. Well I decided that a total of about $5.50 including tax, shipping and handling is not a bad risk. I was pleasantly surprised that my order came promptly in about 3 days time possibly because the seller is in the same state. But it was fast and this item was a good price. My nextbook fits great in it. It doesn't fit quite perfectly because the nook is slightly longer and slightly narrower, but it works great. All the slots on the bottom of my nextbook aren't abstructed at all. I can leave it in the case and charge, can access my removable SD card and connect to my PC. The only thing is you have to push up a bit on the bottom so that the soft keys are visible. You can still do that and the case still holds the NP7 securely, so for me its not a big deal. The case is super light, compact and looks to be pretty well made for the price. I am very happy with this case. Can't beat that price!

I just got it. The nook color fits perfectly andI like how compact it is. My other case is heavy and big so I wanted one for everyday use. I'll use the other when I travel because it's waterproof and extra thick.

This is an update to my earlier review. I would update that review directly but I cannot find it. I bought this cover back whenever the Nook Tablet first came out.

When I first put my Nook Tablet in this, it was a big hassle to get the little elastic straps around the corners. That's because I have thick fingers and I was afraid of overstretching the bands. However, I have since learned how do the straps properly. So that is no longer a problem.

There is no hole for the speaker. I always use earphones anyway, so no big deal. I can still hear the speaker good enough for sound effects, like in a game, but its no good for music.

There is a hole for the charger so you don't have to remove it from the cover to do that daily chore.

When I first got the cover, I thought it was a little bit too small for the Nook Tablet, but now I like it just like it is. It is just the same width and height as the Nook. It is not designed to protect the Nook's edges, just the screen. Careful handling protects the edges. A cover that fully protects the screen and edges would be much larger and bulkier. This cover is just really nice the way it is.

It is not leather, but it is nice. Unreasonable to expect leather at this price, anyway. If you want real leather, go pay $45 somewhere else.

I like the magnetic flap strap. It holds good enough for what it is supposed to do, but unsnaps far easier than a mechanical snap.

The cover has some padding that gives it a very nice feel.

My wife has a cover that folds around vertically and props the Nook up for reading. That's very nice once you have it set up, but it is a bit cumbersome to manipulate into position. I like my cover because it is just like opening a book. Flip and you're done.

This does not have an opening in the back for the speaker. It is very muffled since the case completely covers the speaker. It is not leather it is vinyl.

The cover I received was too large for my basic nook although there was no size specification request. I'm not going to return it, however, because the cost would then be comparable to purchasing it at a local retail store.

Pretty good cover. The only downside is that the magnet in the front cover tends to wander so i have to drag it back into place so that the closure tab can reach it and stay shut. And the speaker is a bit muffled by the case. But it has held up to my kiddo, and not many things do.

I mean, it's a cheap case. I don't know what else you expected from it. I wouldn't buy it again, though.

The fake leather material seems to have begun to peel off at the edge where the case folds, and it has torn off pretty dramatically. I'm finding small bits fraying off every few days (note this started just days after owning it), so it's not really something I'm going to keep for long, just until I find another case I actually like.

The button that snaps in is a tad bit annoying, too. I have to fiddle with it to make it go in, sometimes more than others.

I think this cover is a little softer and thinner than I would like. It works and looks nice though.
If you aren't rough with your Nook this works fine. Since I don't carry my Nook around too
much it is perfect for me. I could see that it could be damaged easily if you toss it in a tote
bag. This is not for the person who isn't careful with their book reader.
