This blue tooth keyboard case was too tempting not to try. However, it was a big disappointment.

First, I must comment on the seller [eWonder]: FIVE STARS! When I contacted them to return my defective keyboard/case, it took all of 60 seconds to receive an apologetic e-mail, along with a prepaid return shipping label. These folks know what great customer service is; and, I can't thank them enough for addressing my problem. They even offered to test a replacement and ship it out; but, due to other factors involving this item, we politely declined. If they had the other kind of case [non-keyboard] that we're considering, we would have ordered it from THEM in a heartbeat.

Regarding the bluetooth keyboard: Like others have commented, if you're a QWERTY kind of guy, be prepared for some slow, haphazard typing. Chubby adult fingers do not favor this small keyboard. On the other hand, if you're a two-fingered wonder, you may have some success....if your keyboard doesn't stutter, like mine did.

Typing away, I encountered plenty of "bbb" when I just wanted to type a "b", etc. This held true for many of the characters entered. I experimented with the way I typed, as well as keystroke pressure; all to no avail. Also, I can't figure why they put a CAPS LOCK above AND below the the SHIFT key on the left side....TWO CAP LOCK's? Why?? This resulted in a lot of unwanted upper case letters. There is no top row of "F" keys; but, it's not really a Windows keyboard, anyway. It really could use an Escape key and a CAPS LOCK indicator light.

Regarding the "PU Leather" case, itself: Don't be fooled into believing you're buying a REAL leather case. PU Leather consists of zero percent leather. It's artificial and may not hold up, over time.

I received my wireless Bluetooth keyboard and was surprised with the quality of the product. The case fit my playbook well and was easy to slide into place. Setting up and linking the keyboard was very simple too. Also, the flip out stand put the playbook at just the right angel. The only complaint I would have is the cover of for the playbook covers part of the border that you need to swipe back to main menu. Also, the keyboard takes a little time to get used to being so small and some of the keys are in different places then on my laptop.

This Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard Case completes my PlayBook. Paired with my Bluetooth wireless mouse it enables me to use my PlayBook as a super mini laptop as well. As I am always on the road -being on a plane, in a train, or just anywhere- I now can manage my Outlook, Agenda, Tasks and various files in a very optimal way, without carrying the lot. Besides I still can take my PlayBook out of this case and use it as a tablet as well. NB. You need to connect a Bluetooth wireless mouse as well, as with your mouse you have to do the 'swiping'. If you want to get back to the main menu, move your cursor to the border and click on the right button.

This is a decent case and keyboard for the price paid. Easy to type on; silicon keyboard causes no damage to Playbook screen. Does lose connectivity sometimes; however, the connectivity is usually restored within seconds. While this issue can be frustrating, it seems to happen more often when the battery is low. Safely secures Playbook and fits nicely into a backpack or medium-sized handbag. Would recommend, especially for shoppers looking to stay within a select budget range or dollar amount. Happy shopping!

I was recently appointed as the Secretary of a local group and didn't want to haul around my laptop to take minutes. So I began searching for a bluetooth keyboard for my Playbook. Initially I was hesitant about this one because some reviews said they had trouble using the top bezel and I use that frequently. But I decided I could modify it if necessary and for the price, I'd deal with any cosmetic issues from my modification. Well none needed! The case I received does not look like the one in the picture here. Somebody got the message about the frame interfering with the touch sensitive bezel and changed the frame design. It's easy to wake up the PB by swiping down the center of the tablet because the case's frame is now indented in the center vs. the corners. The frame is not hard plastic but is made from faux-leather which is easy to lift with a finger to put into stand-by or get to the settings icon. One of the reasons I chose the Playbook over an iPad is because it fits in my purse and with this case, it's about the size of a large paperback, and its total weight (inc. PB) is 1 lb 12 oz. I'll attempt to upload a photo.

The set up instructions were very clear - just 4 easy steps. It took less than an hour to charge and it paired flawlessly the first time. I'm not a small person (my ring finger is a size 7) but I'm able to type fairly easily with both hands as long as I pay attention and don't go too fast.

I paid for standard shipping and it arrived in 3 days. Couldn't be happier!

>sigh<

Two halves of this thing: keyboard & PlayBook holder.

If you're a real typist, you will be mad at yourself for buying this for the keyboard.

If you are a two-finger typist, you will manage and your skills at two-finger typing will not be harmed or interfered.

There is a stupid key placement, however, in the left-bottom corner:
Because a) the left-hand shift key is WAY too small, and because b) the caps LOCK key is adjacent to this stupidly-small key, therefore c) you will inadvertently lock your CAPS, or not hit shift. Far too small & really bad design for these two keys.

The keys are too tightly packed for my adult fingers, and it is impossible for me to hit anywhere close to my 110wpm typing speed.

There is no CAPS lock light (easily there could have been, or one of the lights could be multi-purpose).
I predict you will be befuddled often when typing in your password for the device or the PlayBook bridge.

The silicone cover over the entire keyboard removes most if not all of the tactile advantage of a real keyboard vs. a screen-display keyboard. Your fingers will be confused by it and get false feedback that you are actually pressing the right key in the right place without pushing down another key.

It DOES look cool sitting on the table at a meeting.

The side with the holder is barely ok:
Because the PlayBook requires edge-screen swiping to bring up various menus and the keyboard, this case does a TERRIBLE job of not interfering with the edge-screen swiping, requiring you to awkwardly jam your fingers in to the corners and then swipe from there.
