Only issue was despite purchasing both cabinets within days of each other . . . I received a discount on the 2nd but not the 1st. I assume this is to entice customers to purchase more; however, that type of marketing drives me away to other vendors. Most likely won't purchase from Sweet & Happy Girl's store again.
The cabinet is very spacious and well made. It's oddly attractive, actually - I was thinking purely utilitarian when I bought it, and with the blue LEDs it's kind of cool looking. It took a day or two (in a well-air-conditioned house) to get to the target humidity. I know the hygrometer is measuring because I had the door open for a bit packing my bag for a shoot, and I watched the humidity reading go up, and then come down again over the next few hours. Haven't tested to see how accurate it is, but being off a bit really isn't that important for me. I just want my lenses protected, and there's a pretty wide range of humidity under 50% that'll do that.
And, when it's working it's dead silent. As in, put your ear an inch from the cabinet and wonder whether it works or not. It works. This unit is clearly two units combined. Both the upper and lower have connections for electricity from the wall warts, but only one wall wart is included. There's only one digital hygrometer, and it's on top, and based on what I've seen, having only the top connected seems to be sufficient to dehumidify the cabinet. If I lived on the equator in a non-air-conditioned house, I might try connecting the bottom too, but I suspect it's not looped into the control system.
The instructions included are a superb example of the enormous gap between Chinese and English. (The translation of instructions problem is bi-directional... Chinese friends have regaled me with hilarious stories of Chinese translations of product manuals from the US.) Thankfully this is a simple product. However, everything seems to indicate the shelves slide out, but I've still yet to figure out how to do that, and an email to the shop owner didn't help much. I need to spend some time with flashlights and poking around... If the shelves do slide as everything seems to indicate, this is good. If not, I'd take a star or a star and a half off... if they don't slide, you can only really see what's in front.
I'm going to get an additional unit for my second-line gear. All in all, it's a quality product, a quality seller, and if you need it....... you need it.
