Each tale was penned by a woman TV writer, and each is captivating in its own way. Some were pure, rollicking fiction and some felt tragically autobiographical. "Suzie Homemaker/Apocalypse Ass Kicker" had me laughing out loud. "Collapse" made me cry. "Home" made me want to change the world.
As a nice bonus, most of the contributing authors have their Twitter accounts in their bios. They are worth following, each woman has proven to absolutely fascinating. And in case it's not clear from the description, all the proceeds from the e-book go to the non-profit Lupus Foundation of America. It's win-win-win.
While not every story was five star worthy, the incredible talent gathered here for a good cause made for a pleasant read. I would typically read one story between books to make it last.
Totally worth every penny!
Just go grab it! It IS Amy Berg after all!
