The inner layer of the pouches is a thin flexible
Nylon material that may tear with heavy use.
I intended to use this for a police costume and it worked well. The holster is a thumb break type and holds many types of large or medium frame pistols it velcros to the belt and has another Velcro keeper to secure it, it would take a lot of force to tear it off, but it's possible, so again, I do not advise to use professionally. The front of the holster has a magazine pouch sewn in, pictured is a leatherman supertool 300 in it. The magazine pouch can be mounted horizontally, and holds two pistol mags. It has flashlight, baton, oc spray
, single handcuff, phone and radio pouches. The radio pouch is for a big battery radio, a shorter radio will need a bungee adjustment which can be made by pulling the end of the bungee tight and tying off or using a cord lock. The radio pouch has a girth and depth adjustment, but fits big size radios only, no baofeng or gmrs radios unless you have an extended battery (it would fit a brick). The belt adjusts to 50" max, and the buckle can be easily replaced if broken. It is a 2" wide double layer nylon strap with sewn on edge binding. The belt keepers are just loops with fake snaps, they don't snap over a pants belt like a normal belt keeper, they are intended to hold the inner overlapped Velcro belt ends from opening I think. The stitching in the whole thing is marginal, the thread is nylon, and is double in some places, but no bar tacks for strength. Overall it holds what it describes, and it works.
Pros: Price, accessories, customization.
There are enough pouches here that you're nearly able to have everything you'll ever want or need on your belt. You're able to remove just about everything so you can use the positions with which you're most familiar (one item unmovable will be in Cons section).
The pouches don't feel like they'll rip apart as I feared they might. Everything is quite stiff and things feel secure.
Cons: Missing Parts and Holster
There are no belt keepers from what I can see. Unless they are referring to the little things shown in the front of the picture. However, these are *not* belt keepers as they cannot be removed and used to affix this outer duty belt to your inner belt.
The Holster is too small for a Springfield XD9 Subcompact. I tried to get my XD9 in there and had to JAM it in. At that point there was nearly no grip in order to reach for it and the retention snap still couldn't close anyway.
