A beautifully written and poignant look into a the lives of very large Christian Arab minority within Israel that gives insight to the challenges of the larger Palestinian community. It gives insight into an aspect of the complex problem that Israel's constitutionally Jewish status presents to Israelis, their allies, and the broader world.

Bishop Riah Abu El-Assal combines a personal biography with an inside look at living as an Arab Christian in Palestine over the turbulent history of the past 55 years. The Bishop's experience as the Vicar of Christ Church in Nazareth gives an inside look at the lives of the Arab people and provides a fresh perspective on the issues of Palestine.
