In any case, I'm VERY displeased I spent twice as much 15 years later to get a book with such poor print quality. I would recommend people look for an earlier printing and verify that the content is printed in black and blue.
It's a great reference for Trek modelers and just a fun book to look at if you like this kind of stuff. And it makes you think they really thought about the technology behind daily life fairly seriously (what, no breweries in engineering?!). Published in 1991, this is still a great book to have for a great series.

Did not like that book was shipped in a bubble envelope package that is very flexible, instead of a cardboard stiff envelope. Book came bent and I had to fix that. Amazon should not ship books that way ever!

Sadly, the book does not cover the Warp Nacelles, save to give a truncated plan view with no annotations or explanation of its structure or what the various elements are. Rich Sternbach (the illustrator of the Technical Manual and the most recent Enterprise-D blueprints and Producer of Star Trek post Roddenberry) and Ed Whitefire, Who created the original E-D blueprints) Have both said there were/are no blueprints made of the nacelles inner volumes, but there were conversations in the early development of the series that suggested that they were to be addressed. That said, Ed Whitefire has intimated that he might revisit the nacelles sometime in the foreseeable future. (this info valid as of Feb 2018)
Conclusion? If you really like Star Trek and you really, really want to know how the replicators work, where they store deuterium and how the Holodecks function, I guarantee everything (almost) you wanted to know about running a Galaxy class (and earlier) starship is in this manual.
To Infinity and Beyond!!!!!!! :P
