Purchase options and add-ons

Assassinations. Drug running. False flag ops. A shadow paramilitary global network. Synthetic wars. CIA-NATO: A darker truth. Operation Gladio Plan B: Murder. OG 68—aka Greg McPhearson—no longer works for the company. The hunter has now become prey. He knows this beast: what created him and shattered his soul. Until Mai. When he opened the door to her three years ago, he opened what soul he had left. Yet he belatedly discovers that no amount of pride or power can ever replace one precious breath . . . When the CIA orders his FBI bosses to call off a sting, Special Agent Ryan Marcello decides to do some digging. He calls in senior analyst Elsie Simon, expert in the Turkey-Central Asian-Caucasus nexus, to help track down the high-level target with ties to ruthless power players in a global narcotics-terrorism ring. Every lead and each new suspect brings them that much closer to home. With Elsie’s help, and their lives at stake, the two begin their own investigation . . . The murdered son of a U.S. mogul leads to the hiring of Ryan and Elsie, who are used and then trapped in a byzantine scheme of retribution: of black ops within black ops, trails gone cold, kidnappings, blackmail, unexplained murders . . . a plot that extends from Russia and Azerbaijan to Cambodia, Vietnam, and is buried inside the Deep State. For his final mission, in a world where reality now stands on its head—My enemy’s enemy is my enemy”—no one would be spared . . . the Gladio would be acting alone.

Sibel Edmonds' novel puts real 'flesh on the bones' of evil and perversion lived by real people we read about in our evening news today. Yes they are still living these pedophiles, extortionists and murders whose names will usually remain hidden behind the word 'alleged' when the invocation of "state secret" is not successful.

Be advised, while a true 'page turner,' this is no pleasure read for the insufficiently distracted. It has a thesis that is subtle enough to need mention: we are being gamed by an oligarchy who is equipped with a well-trained alphabet soup of agencies operating 24/7 beyond the reach of criminal prosecution. During Edmonds' suspenseful account we learn about a new normal, dystopian à la 1984, yet hidden in plain sight. Her protagonist learns that desiring good is not enough and that maintaining one's own morality won't win the battle against evil. True tyrants don't grapple with philosophical questions. They take what they want, invade privacy in real ways, extort with real 'evidence' and (if more subtle threats don't suffice) kill with real means. Those of us with children will do well to expose them to this title at adolescence since they will need knowledge of what is brewing. Let's be honest, some of their playmates' parents will be preparing their children how to leverage opportunities for participating on the tyrannical side.

I am guessing that without word-of-mouth publicity this title will not get any attention in the schools. One of the best ways the authorities have of "banning" any title that threatens the status quo is to ignore it. Thanks to Edmonds for her creativity in producing something that peels away the illusion of freedom in the world. The Bible says in many places that the heart of man is so utterly corrupt--who can know it?

This account is one of the more laudable uses of fiction and can be a deft introduction to history that escapes the scrutiny of mainstream [read 'paid for'] pundits, historians and spin doctors, let alone U.S. policy wonks. This book is well worth the read and I highly recommend it.

FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds , founder of the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition, has not only set up her own media platform at Boiling Frogs Post, and published her own memoirs with 'Classified Woman', she has now added a fascinating novel to her list of great accomplishments. Where do I begin to describe this brilliant work? 'The Lone Gladio' is suspenseful, thrilling, intense, disturbing, dark and brooding. It's labeled as fiction but it's premise is based on reality, a terrifying one at that. Truths that most people are not willing to face when it comes to the 'War on Terror' , NATO, and all thru the U.S. Federal government and their departments - the CIA, FBI, Pentagon, and so on.

The narrative is based on "Operation Gladio B" , an FBI codename adopted in 1997 for ongoing relations between US intelligence, the Pentagon, and Al Qaeda. The name refers to the original Operation Gladio, in which US intelligence had established groups stay-behind forces in Europe in preparation for a Soviet invasion. Assassinations.

Drug running. False flag ops. A shadow paramilitary global network. Synthetic wars - says the description on the back cover. And it continues: The murdered son of a U.S. mogul leads to the hiring of Ryan and Elsie, who are used and then trapped in a byzantine scheme of retribution: of black ops within black ops, trails gone cold, kidnappings, blackmail, unexplained murders . . . a plot that extends from Russia and Azerbaijan to Cambodia, Vietnam, and is buried inside the Deep State. For his final mission, in a world where reality now stands on its head—My enemy’s enemy is my enemy”—no one would be spared . . . the Gladio would be acting alone.” Former FBI special agent Dennis Saccher states Edmonds's story "should have been front page news" because it is "a scandal bigger than Watergate". I've never read a novel twice..but looks like this will be the first time. Obviously highly recommended!

I've been looking forward to reading this since it came out and it didn't disappoint. The Lone Gladio is very much like James Rollins meets Brad Meltzer. The chapters within chapters jump around a lot between the many players within CIA, FBI, spies and politicians, but the story starts to come together and really move about half way in, when characters and their back stories begin to intertwine and reveal the scope of the plot.

Keep reminding yourself it's faction, not fiction, and it will easily hold your attention the whole way through. The story and characters are fictional, but placed in the real world. Anyone who's not unplugged from the matrix will probably take it as pure fiction, sadly it's not. Sibel Edmonds is a whistle blower and patriot, I'm looking forward to reading her biography.

English is not the author's first language and this is relatively obvious especially in the dialogue and interactions, but the writing is solid enough that it doesn't matter. Whoever the editor is, they did a very good job keeping it consistent and on track. The mixing of character POVs within chapters was a bit distracting and the Elsie character was incredibly unlikeable, so much that it was impossible to root for her. Her love interest, Ryan, calls her "Sweet" but she is anything but, the only word I can think to describe her is unlikeable. Other than her love of good coffee and fine dining, I wouldn't want to spend any time around her if she were a real person.

Overall it's a great book, good job Sibel!

This is the fastest I have gone through a book. I couldn't put it down. I've read many books on the subject that Sibel talks about here and it is put together so concise and to the point. It's a sad state that what she writes about actually happens in this world and so many people are oblivious. Awesome story as well. Fast and quick. At first, there is so many characters but you put them all together pretty quick. Loved this book.

An excellent book full of vital information about the world we live in. Will have you on the edge of your seat, audibly gasping or in tears. Well written, clear and an enjoyable read, the information is so shocking that at times you cannot believe it. In accordance with other reviewers, I urge you to do further reading before taking on this book, as it will make the events far clearer. I recommend her boiling frogs post, her collaboration with the corbett report and many of her other works. I would also recommend looking further into these issues once you have read it, to further your knowledge on this critical matter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fictional aspect of a possible reality

Having previousy read "Classified Woman" I knew what I was getting into with this book. The "hero" is a bit too superhuman for my taste, but the story of secret service manipulation, corruption, predation and immorality, given Sibel's first-hand knowledge since her work at the FBI, makes it compelling. Must read by anyone wondering why international politics is the (crazy) way it is. But it makes more sense if you already have some idea of who Sibel Edmonds really is.

Everyone who cares about the state of the world should read this one. Sibel Edmonds is the most gagged woman in the US, so wrote about what she discovered about how the US planned 9/11 as a justification for invading the Middle East. Not only that, the US has through Gladio A and now Gladio B been responsible for nearly all major terrorist attacks in the world since WWII.
Through our energy, our beliefs, our focus we are creating this world, and this is what we are creating. This is a clear example of where the fear mind takes us. Love, trust, equality, inclusiveness, Oneness with all life and forgiveness. Make a start today or our species like so many will face extinction.
