About the author

Richard A. Barker is a social scientist, industrial engineer, and educator. He earned an Ed.D. in Leadership Studies and Org. Theory from the Univ. of San Diego, a M.S. in I/O Psychology , and an A.B. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from San Diego State Univ. Dr. Barker is retired after spending more than 30 yrs teaching various management topics at graduate and undergrad levels, and more than 15 yrs as a full time employee of General Dynamics Corp.--Convair and Electronics Divisions--during the space race. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (Div. 1 & 14), a Sr. Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and a Life Member of the American Federation of Musicians. In addition, he is Principal Investigator for Big Muddy Ghost Hunters (www.bigmuddyghosthunters.org), and has been studying paranormal phenomena since the age of eight. USNR 1965-1972.
