It was the same information I found on ancestry.com but it is better in book form. I didn't have to print any of the documents and worry about the sheets printing all the names on one sheet. I like the booklet a lot...worth what I paid for it.

This book the Font is small making it hard to read. The maps you need a magnifying glass. Not much information either. If you want more info get the one form Din, Gilbert. It has much more info and better bibliography. Throwing this one back.

The book gave great details on the Islanders that took the journey. This is a great book for those seeking information on possible ancestors.

Same info with much much more available in Gilbert C Din's book "The Canary Islanders of Louisiana". Villere's book lacks a unified index for all migrants, indexing ship-by- ship only.
