Editorial Reviews
Review
"This book takes the reader through many of the best known and more obscure cemeteries in Colorado. A handy index and an impressive bibliography round out this comprehensive research tool. Linda Wommack has given serious history buffs a nice book for our research libraries, and for those who only dabble, there are still enough real people profiles to make From the Grave a good investment."—Jan Holden for True West Magazine

I expected a abbreviated version of a travel monologue but received a well researched book that was exceptionally well written. Lots of history and fun information spread over hundreds of pages. Buy this one.

I am so excited to plan some road trips around my state to see many of these treasures. The mini-bios of residents also add depth to the experience.

This book misses many cemeteries located within it's limits for obvious reasons, but for those cemeteries included the author provides interesting and well written information about the local history and lives of those interred at the site. I personally found the information about eastern Colorado very helpful and interesting.

Got the book to see if I could find anything about my great grandparents. I did and it was interesting stuff too.

Amazing book! For the most part this book lives in the console of my Blazer. We have had many wonderful adventures locating and exploring cemeteries of ghost towns and modern cities alike. This is an invaluable book for anyone that enjoys exploring Colorado history. If it came in an ebook, I would have that too!

Wommack's book represents a daunting amount of research and should become a standard reference work for geneologists and historians.
