This is the best single source of information I've found for restoring/preserving old photographic products. The Kodak people really know their stuff.
If you are inexperienced with darkroom chemical processing, this book may feel like you are diving into the deep end of the pool. Not insurmountable though and there is still a wealth of information and usefulness if you don't intend to get your hands wet. Some of the Kodak products they recommend are no longer in production, put you can likely find usable alternatives with just a little research. e.g. some cleaning chemicals are no longer legally available; some discontinued Kodak products are still made by other manufacturers. The website for "Photographers' Formulary" is one good source. Good luck.
