My 7 year own son was enthralled all the way through. I wish it was a tad longer/more detailed in the last chapter, but overall a great retelling.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unabridged-Good paper and fonts-No errors
Reviewed in India on October 30, 2019
I knew that the book was a classic but before buying was sceptical of the quality of the paper, the typography and since it cost me INR 113, if it was an abridged version. When I got the book, I was pleasantly surprised. It was of 360+pages, the font size and paper quality were excellent.Till now ie the first 110 pages i have not found any spelling mistakes or gammatical errors. It seems to be an unabridged version. It was properly packaged with plastic covering and a book mark was provided as well. Going ahead and placing orders for other books from Maple publishing. Not sure of the publications from other publishers. The price given at the back of the book was INR 195.

As a former Canadian sailor and diver, with a grandfather who used to build sailing ship models brandishing a fully sailed clipper on his forearm I loved this book. The descriptions of the Nautilus and diving gear and creatures along with the adventures had me waiting for more. A great book. Thank you Jules Verne. Could he even imagined his story read on a phone?

This classic is DEFINITELY worth the read! Verne is such a talented author, and it was refreshing to read something so detailed and thoughtful. This book was true bliss, not just a story. I can’t believe all the details he incorporated without access to internet. My only critique would be that I feel like Captain Nemo’s outlook on life and send for vengeance seems like an afterthought, when it’s supposed to be the main point of the book. I wish that was more developed. But overall a fantastic piece!
