I learned more about myself from this book, than any other source.
I was born (1956) and raised it New York (Westchester County / Whiteplains).
When I was almost 44 I learned from my older "brother", that I was adopted as an infant.
I found out that
My birth parents were Ross and Mary Wiseman;
and,
My birth name was Ross Wiseman.
What I didn't know, until I read this book, was how much being adopted had impacted my life! Before reading this book I would never have believed that something I never knew about, would have had such a profound affect on my life.
I work for a company that does personality profiling (The Omnia Group), and while our product explains a lot about me, I have always puzzled by the "gaps" between the "Profile" and who I actually am. This book has filled in many of those gaps.
