This book has some interesting facts and history that can be very helpful to pinpoint an area, or reason that one's ancestors
may have been omitted or stricken from rolls. I did find a relative directly from some of this information. If you are seriously trying to form a "scenario" resource for your research, this book is a great addition.

I thought this was more info about how to use the Dawes Rolls for information on how to find your native american ancestors. It is, in fact ,how and why the Dawes Commission was set up. It does give information on many other rolls that your ancestors may have signed up on. I'll keep my copy.
