- Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2021As anyone reading this review knows, the Israeli-Palestinian issue is complex. Israel is neither always right nor wrong. Ditto the Palestinians. One hopes to read an unbiased evaluation of the many issues involved. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. Neff has nothing positive to say about Israel and the Americans who support it. It is a well-written, sophisticated "hatchet job." I enjoyed the brief summaries of issues, with the notes and references for additional research. I am not adverse to reading about dissenting views -- Holocaust denial, the Palestinian viewpoints. But one-sided arguments don't convince me. If you are pro-Israel, this book will infuriate you. If you are pro-Palestinian, you will enjoy it.
