The book is very informative. It's great with the directions on the trails and lets you know where every trail head and points of interest are. Although there are two things I wish the book had, which is why I give the book 4 stars. First is to at least have colored maps that resembled a satellite image. That would help to better understand the surroundings of the trail you're going to take. It is obvious though that this book should be supplemented with certified topographic maps for certainty about the area. Second, information about camping in the area. I felt they could have fit in some information about where you can camp, and advice on conditions you might face. I've had to look elsewhere to know what the weather is like in the mountains and where you are permitted to set up a tent.
