- Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2014Mike Robbins is a compassionate person and a wonderful author. He's done a lot of work, both self-help and helping others in the last 16 years since I met him. This latest book is a must-have if you're interested in personal progress. Mike writes in a style that is easy to read and down-to-earth. The format is super user-friendly. You can open it up anywhere and glean valuable insights and incentives to practice. Each page is its own little gem of wisdom. And the bottom line is that it is empowering. Mike lovingly moves you out of victim mentality and into the driver's seat so you can shift perspective and step into your power. This book is one of those books you buy a bunch of to keep around and give out to your friends -it's not likely to come back if you just lend it out! Thanks, Mike!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2017Good book...authentic. One thing I would add would be Celiac affects people. Hair loss/miscarriage/Bipolar/cancer/ depression and more may be due to Celiac. Tests may not work to diagnose it. Low sunlight may cause less laughing/cry easily...cause Celiac. No gluten/dairy/soy/sugar/GMO/food with a label....vitamins/good oils/minerals...probiotics...LDN..detoxing may help brain/body/personality/depression/health issues fast and then life can be happy/healthy. Interesting book/has some good insights. Thanks for writing the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2014I am a huge Mike Robbins' fan. I received his book as a gift after hosting him as a speaker and enjoyed it's simple but meaningful messages. It's an easy read and is enjoyable storytelling. For anyone looking to be more authentic or grow out of your comfort zone this is for you.
I recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn more about
- How to be compassionate with yourself and tips how to do that
- How to ask for what you want - the answer is always no until you ask.
- How to take more risks that lead to greater reward. Big risks get easier with practice. Being vulnerable is risky. Change how you approach or think of risks and you will see change with you and everything around you.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2023I actually saw mike robbins at a work convention. I ordered his books while he was still on stage.
If you are working on yourself for personal and or professional growth. His books need to be on your list to buy.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2017This is a good first timer/beginner read. Very elementary clearly laid out writing. So if you are new to this type of work this is a great place to start. For more advanced work, read "Wake up to your life"
- Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2014I really like Mike Robbin's latest book. While his other two books are excellent as well, this one really is written at a whole new level. Perhaps it is the essay format versus the how-to format, but the feel is much deeper with Nothing Changes Until You Do. The stories and the tips for using the insights gained from Mikes observations and wisdom really hit home. The format allows one to pick up and read any of the essays and take in a lot of wonderful wisdom. It is like going to a dessert table and choosing from so many great desserts. The author's style is to write a very transparent and conversational book and that comes across very well here. This is a book to be treasured on your book shelf and can be shared with your whole family, especially with kids if you have them.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2023Great book ! Great for our bookclub.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2014After finishing the book Nothing Changes Until You Do, I had this 'AHA' moment where I realized each of the 40 chapters are like a yoga pose for the mind & soul -- actions both internal and external that are simple, but not always easy. Mike dynamically illustrates the balance and imbalance in each pose (or chapter) through authentic stories and clear action steps. He invites us to stretch, reach and get out of our comfort zone while taking each life pose in a more efficient manner. All 40 chapters integrate into a beautiful practice. I know Amazon categorizes this as a book, but I can say it's more. I hope you find the AHA moment as well when you read the book. Enjoy!

Nick GrimshaweReviewed in Canada on December 26, 20235.0 out of 5 stars A Book Full of Inspiring Stories
Every chapter is a story, usually a story of a personal nature and how that story relates to the theme. I also discover some unique ideas, and different ways oaf looking at things.

My son and I are listening to this CD, read by the author Mike Robbins, each morning in the car. We are on the last of the
four CD's. I am not sure what made me order this from Amazon...possibly the other reviews, but I am glad I did.
Great story, read with honesty and feeling.
