Picking up this book gives you a great feeling. The density of the material, the finish of the cover, the slickness of the pages, and the crisp font can't help but make you feel like you made the right purchase. Delving into the content doesn't dissatisfy either. This is one of the most comprehensive math books I've ever found, and will be used for my personal and professional studies for years to come.

The book is showing its age - but only a little. It contains fascinating summaries of mathematics old and new. No proofs, but tantalising leads and snilppets that are useful in themselves, as intended, but good prompts for the mathematically curious, or as in my case nostalgic, to follow up.
There are some things missing I would have hoped included, but others were there that I had never expected.
Warmly recommended, particularly for unreconstructed nerds like me.

This is the best mathematics handbook I have ever come across. I have the 2007 edition and is thinking of buying the newer 2015 edition that has just come out. But the fond size used in the book is a little too small for me. I wish the publisher could print the handbook in larger fond.

Great starting from the first edition

The handbook of mathematics is a great book. Essentially, it is a catalog of several areas presented very concisely. Recommended for engineers and scientists who use mathematics occasionally.

An excellent reference book to have in your library.

Perfect for anyone who needs a strong mathematics handbook - physicists, engineers, or CS people, this means you. There are no (or few) derivations, but all the techniques you need are here.

This is the best mathematical handbook I have seen. I love it. Crystal clear and when things is in the fog there is an explanation of how tings work. By it !
